Jim Arnieri is a multi-talented man with a keen eye for the unusual as you will see in his photographs. He began taking photos as a youngster using his family’s camera. From that point on Jim was hooked. In high school he purchased his very first 35mm camera and has been clicking the shutter ever since.
Jim was born and raised in Sheridan, Wyoming. After graduating from the University of Wyoming, he served as an officer in the army. He then earned his law degree—but let’s not hold that against him!!! When he is not traveling the world photographing cars, he can be found in his office at Sheridan County Title Insurance Agency where he practices real estate law. He is the owner and president of this very reputable company. His photographs adorn the walls of his office as well as his home.
In 1984 Jim attended his first major car show and began photographing elements of the cars that he found interesting and unusual. From this point on he has concentrated on this aspect. His love of cars and photography combined have taken him from coast to coast as well as Brazil, France, and Italy. To this day he continues to use 35mm film. He remains a purist: his photographs are not digitally enhanced.
For all of you car aficionados out there, Jim’s first car was a 1967 MGB/GT. The color was British racing green with black interior and chrome wire wheels. Throughout his life his motto has remained the same “My idea of a good time involves cigars, whiskey, fast cars, and loose women.” His wife indulges him in the first three.!!!
We hope that you have enjoyed viewing Jim’s photos and that you will consider this unique art when making a purchase for your home or office or to adorn the walls of your garage where you store the love of your life-----Your car, that is!
